SPCI celebrates 100 years!
The SPCI 2008 exhibition and conferences will be extra special since the organisation will celebrate its 100th anniversary in connection with the event.
“SPCI has served our industry providing technical and social platforms for one hundred years and SPCI 2008 will therefore enhance its status as a meeting point for the international pulp & paper industry,” says Marina Asp, Executive Director of SPCI.
“The exhibition approach works extremely well for us and we view this as definitely the most important exhibition from a global perspective. We have great expectations for SPCI 2008. We meet the right people, do business and have never had any problems recovering our costs,” says Thomas Carlson, President at Stafsjö Valves.
Engineering company Pöyry has similar experience and expectations.“Years of participating in the SPCI exhibition in Stockholm has made it something of a tradition for us. It is an excellent meeting point where we can maintain relationships with earlier customers and also generate a large number of new contacts which frequently result in a whole lot of business. We put a great deal of effort into this event and feel that is genuinely worth the trouble,” says Stina Hemmilä, Marketing Communications Manager at Pöyry.
SPCI Chairman Sven Wird, Technical Director at Holmen concludes: “This is the best opportunity to be updated.”
